I was born in Argentina in 1951 of Italian parents.
Today (2007) I live in France.
I spent my school years in South America (Argentina, Chile and Peru)
and moved to Italy with my parents and sister in 1970.
I did one year at the University of Genoa .
From 1973 until 1987 I worked in the import-export business
in London and Genoa.
My favourite past-time were playing soccer with my friends
and riding motor-bike.
This here is me today (profile continues below) :

I abandoned my commercial career in 1987 and for some time I lived in a Gandhian
community in France, where I first came to know about earth construction.
After that, I started cooperating , and did so for a long time,
with a highly successful French architect who still today runs an Earth Construction center
near Toulouse. There I learnt practically everything there was to know
about the subject and did several workshops there and elsewhere in France.
In 1988 I did a big building construction workshop in Devon (England).
Between 1988 and 1992 I lived in Asia (India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Thailand)
with a view to getting first-hand knowledge of the habitat situation in developing countries.
Back in Europe I did one more building construction workshop in Italy,
then moved to England again to carry out research at the
Intermediate Technology Development Group (today Practical Action) in Rugby.
In 1998 I moved back to France, where I still live today.
Between 1998 and 2004 I lived in a monastery, working a bit and
trying to think what plans I wanted to make for the future.
Today I have plans to go back to Asia and build low-cost houses for the poor
and I am looking for sponsors.
Building with earth is my main interest but I also like studying various subjects
(I have 700 books on subjects such as science, economics, politics, history and religion) ,
I like watching the odd silly action movie on TV, the odd big international soccer match,
listening to modern pop music and doing voluntary work
(in the little French village were I live I take care of the vagrant homeless people that land there).
